Monday: We will continue our discussion on sec-12.2, Newton's first and second laws of motion. Students will work on math practice problems. Next we will start sec-12.3, Newton's thrid law of motion and momentum. Do the notes and section assessment for homework.Tuesday: Discussion on sec-12.4, Universal Forces. Students will learn about electromagnetic forces, nuclear forces, gravitational force, uses of satellites, etc. Do the section assessment for homework. Later chapter assessment will be assigned.
Wednesday: Students will work on an exploration lab - Investigating a balloon jet.
Thursday: Discussion on sec-13.1, Fluid Pressure and sec-13.2, Forces and pressure in fluids. Students will learn about pressure in fluids, atmospheric pressure, pascal's principle, hydraulic systems, Bernoulli's principle, etc. Do the section assessment for homework.
Friday: Discussion on sec-13.4, Buoyancy. We will discuss about buoyant force, Archimede's Principle, density, etc. Do the section assessment for homework. Students should work on the chapter assesment over the break.
