Monday: Students will review the main facts on ch-6 for the first half hour. Next, they will take the test on ch-6, Chemical Bonds.
Tuesday: Discussion on sec-7.1, Describing Reactions. Students will learn about chemical equations, conservation of mass, balancing equations, counting with moles, converting mass to moles, etc. Do the notes and section review for homework.
Wednesday: We will discuss sec-7.2, Types of Reactions. Students will learn to classify reactions as synthesis, decomposition, single replacement, double replacement, combustion, oxidation, and reduction reactions. Do the notes and section review for homework.
Thursday: Today we will discuss sec-7.3, Energy Changes in Reactions. We will learn about chemical bonds and energy, exothermic and endothermic reactions, and conversation of energy. Do the notes and section review for homework.
Friday: Students will learn about Reaction Rates in Sec-7.4. We will discuss about reactions over time, and factors affecting reaction rates such as; temperature, surface area, stirring, concentration, and catalysts. Do the notes and section review for homework.
