Monday: Discussion on sec-2.1, Classifying Matter. Students will learn about pure substances, elements, compounds, mixtures, solutions, suspensions, and colloids. Do the section assessment for homework.
Tuesday: Discussion on sec-2.2, Physical properties. We’ll discuss about viscosity, conductivity, malleability, filtration, distillation, etc. Do the section assessment for homework.
Wednesday: Today we’ll discuss about chemical properties in sec-2.3. Students will learn about flammability, reactivity, forming a precipitate, etc. Do the section review for homework.
Thursday: Students will work on a lab – Using properties to identify materials.
Friday: Today we will go over the study guide to get ready for the test.
