Chemistry for Week 5/12/2014-5/16/2014

Monday: Do practice problems-1.010 and 13.11 in Sec-13.2. Next, do #'s 1 to 4 on Sec-13.2 section review.

Tuesday: Do the three practice problems and practice problem 13.11. Then, do review questions 1 to 4.

Wednesday: Do the example problem-13.12 and practice problem-13.12. Do numbers 5 and 6 on sec-13.2 review.

Thursday: Students should work on the following problems:

1. A sample of oxygen gas is saturated with water vapor at 30.0 °C. The total pressure is 753 torr and the vapor pressure of water at 30.0 °C is 31.824 torr. What is the partial pressure of the oxygen gas in atm?

2. A sample of oxygen gas is saturated with water vapor at 27 °C. The total pressure is 785.0 torr and the partial pressure of oxygen is 758.3 torr. What is the vapor pressure of water at 27 °C?

Next, they should do notes and review for Sec-13.3. 

Friday: Student's who did not finish Thursday's homework can complete it over the weekend. They should also work on Ch-13 chapter assessment #'s 23 to 30. Everything is due on Tuesday.
