Monday: To design and build a three-dimensional model project: Students’ already chose a model that they will be working on. Their plan was supposed to be approved last week. This project is worth 200 points and it is due on Tuesday, February 17th. Later students’ will work on a lab - measuring volume of regular/irregular solids, and density of solids. Tuesday: Today students’ will work on their final lab – measuring the temperatures of various substances in degrees celsius and kelvin. Do the section assessment for homework.
Wednesday: Discussion on sec-2, Mathematics and science. Students’ will learn about estimation, accuracy, precision, significant figures, percent error, mean, median, and mode. Do the section assessment for homework.
Thursday: We’ll discuss sec-3, Graphs in science. Students’ will learn about the importance of graphs, plotting a line graph, draw a line of best fit, slope, and using graphs to identify trends. Do the section review for homework.
Friday: Test on ch-2.
