Monday: Students will review ch-3 material for the first half hour. Next, they will take the test on ch-3, The Rock and Fossil Record.
Tuesday: The Rock Display project is due today. Student will do the presentations during the class.
Wednesday: The rock display presentations will continue for the first part of the block. Next, we will move on to the next chapter-4, Plate Tectonics.
Thursday: Discussion on sec-1, Inside the Earth. We will learn about the composition of the Earth, the crust, the mantle, the core, tectonic plates, and mapping the Earth’s Interior. Do the notes and section review for homework.
Friday: We will discuss sec-2, Restless Continents. Students will learn about Wegener’s Continental Drift, breakup of Pangaea, sea-floor spreading, mid-ocean ridges, magnetic reversals, etc. Do the notes and section review for homework.
