Monday: Students are supposed to finish sec-7.1 to 7.4 notes and reviews by Monday. Today we will discuss sec-7.5, Equilibrium. Students will learn about types of Equilibria, and the factors affecting Chemical Equilibrium. Do the notes and section review for homework.
Tuesday: Students will work on the chapter review for the first part of the class and then study for the test.
Wednesday: Test on ch-7, Chemical Reactions.
Thursday: Discussion on sec-8.1, Formation of Solutions. Students will learn about dissociation of ionic compounds, dispersion and ionization of molecular compounds, properties of liquid solutions such as; conductivity, freezing and boiling points, heat of a solution, and factors affecting rate of dissolving. Do the notes and section review for homework.
Friday: Today we will discuss sec-8.2, Solubility and Concentration. Students will learn about solubility, saturated, unsaturated, and supersaturated solutions, factors affecting solubility, and concentration of solutions. Do the notes and section review for homework.
