Monday: Today we will discuss sec-8.3, Properties of Acids and Bases. Students will learn to identify acids and bases, neutralization and salts, proton donors and acceptors. Do the notes and section review for homework.
Tuesday: Discussion on sec-8.4, Strength of Acids and Bases. Students will learn about the PH scale, strong acids and bases, weak acids and bases, and electrolytes. Do the notes and section review for homework.
Wednesday: Students will research and write a report about the work of Charles Drew. What methods he used to prolong the storage time for whole blood? Why he decided to separate whole blood into plasma and cells for storage?
Thursday: Today students will work on the chapter review during class and study for the test.
Friday: Test on ch-8, Solutions, Acids, and Bases.
